Mission McAlinden Associates was founded in 1972 to give executives the communication tools to achieve their business goals. We saw the need for people to distill their messages, adapt to the changing needs of their audiences, and develop the personal and professional skills to get across their ideas with confidence.


Needs Over the past 30 years the importance of these needs — and our commitment to addressing them — has grown as communication has become global and expectations for individual performance have risen. The requirement to get to the point when appropriate, and to run efficient, action-oriented meetings is an ongoing challenge. The need to be sensitive to individual, corporate and national cultures has become increasingly critical to success. The trend to more interactive and informal communication requires more organized thinking and a broader range of skills in both stand-up presentations and round table meetings.


Results Fundamental to all our work is our commitment to building participants' ability to face a range of communication challenges. Consistent results are achieved through a high level of personal attention. The concepts incorporated in our workshops have been effectively applied in one-on-one programs for senior executives, and to teams both small and large. Quality Our consultants have the global experience to meet a broad range of challenges, from Board presentations to complex proposals. We conduct workshops in Asia, Europe, North and South America. By moving consultants among varied clients and cultures we create a stimulating learning environment. We maintain the quality of our team through a rigorous process of constructive feedback, regular coaching and annual refreshers. Our consultants, who usually work in teams, instruct only McAlinden programs.
